Wrapping Machines
The term wrapping when applied to packaging equipment covers a broad family of machine types and styles. The common feature is the use of a piece of plastic film, paper or aluminum which is wrapped around a product or group of products and is then sealed using heat, glue or simply friction. The wrap itself does not need to fully enclose the pack and can consist simply of a band, a partial enclosure of the pack or the complete hermetic seal of the product.

SATURN S8 is a fully automatic rotary ring stretch wrapper for pallet loads, equipped with dual-head. The film rolls are placed on the carriages, which rotate concentric to the load moving up and down according to the wrapping cycle, so that the load remains static. MOVITEC has designed the SATURN S8 wrapper to cover the maximum capacity markets (up to 160 pallets / hour). The dual-head system allows the wrapping cycle to apply two layers of fim at one turn of the ring.
